As the first star
appears shining in the sky,
gradually, graciously and tenderly
so, from an early age, Lucia has
developed her love for art
and artistic sensibility.

She grew up in a creative family environment
formed by the legacy of several generations of artists.
Influenced by naive paintings on glass and wooden sculptures seen
at great grandparents and grandparents, as well as contemporary pieces
created by members of her family – sculpture, painting, graphics,
jewellery, design and film production – she naturally
decided for the path of an aesthete.

Lucia studied textiles
at the Bratislava Private Art College,
followed by fashion and jewellery design studies at the
Raffles College of Design and Commerce in Sydney, Australia.
It was here, where she became enchanted by
jewellery and its subtle perfection.

A fondness for tradition
coupled with a love for contemporary chic
influenced Lucia's own style. Keen on colours and patterns,
she would choose one strong accessory piece to compliment her outfit,
especially a brooch. After a heavy brooch had torn her favourite
designer silk blouse, she decided to create a brooch so light,
that it will be a delight to pin it on to even
the most delicate fabric.

The idea of SKVOST was born.
Lucia created the first delightful lightweight brooch
in 2012, and redefined the idea of brooches,
heavy only with heritage, forever…

Each SKVOST
reflects her exceptional ability and
tenderness to merge unbounded
imagination with precision.

Lucia's graceful ambition is
to show the fashion world how, once again,
to wear the brooch with grace!
